Listen to “Starstruck” the EP now:

About

Sophia Fracassi doesn’t hide from her emotions. This was evident in 2022 with the release of her debut EP Marathon, and is still the case with everything she’s done since and has planned moving forward. Fresh off the heels of a whirlwind 2023 that saw the rising star named KiSS Radio’s ‘One to Watch’ for February and March of 2023, to a cross-Canada tour with Canadian pop-rock icon Amanda Marshall, and the release of her second EP, Fracassi shows no signs of slowing down.

Sophia’s new EP “Starstruck” promises the same catchy melodies and up-tempo tracks that listeners are used to, along with melodic, heartfelt ballads. Of the EP, Sophia says, “This project will forever be one I hold extremely close to my heart. It was like a turning page in my career and my life in general. Writing and creating these tracks has been a chance to become myself in a way I had never truly been before. It is abrasive, it’s loving, it’s full. The decision to title this EP with the last track’s name “Starstruck” came from that song’s final lyrics: “it just takes one look around me, and I’m feeling starstruck,” because life is abrasive, and life is loving, and life is full. It is everything all at once and I am continually humbled and in awe of it all. I hope those who listen will know I poured all of my heart into it, overflowing.”
